Ejy, nwanne m,
How do we begin to say goodbye?
Sometimes I pray this is all a dream and that you are really still here.
Sometimes I ask, why did this have to happen?
Of all people, why you?
I have now come to realize that your life was a precious gift to all of us.
A taste of good times that so many other people never get to experience in their lives.
A time to create beautiful memories that we would cherish forever.
I now see that we are blessed by God to have ever had you in our lives in the first place.
We are highly favored to have laughed, cried and danced on this earth with you.
And as much as it pains us to have to say goodbye my dearest brother, I’d rather lose you too soon than to never have had you as a brother.
Farewell Ejy, may our great God grant you eternal rest, until we meet again.
